Toothless Plush WIP

Long time no upload. When I have more time for my personal projects, and even an upcoming school project, I'll put this journal to much better use for the new year. Until then, here's some WIP photos of my third Toothless plush, this time one with a complete tail. Hopefully I'll have him done either in Spring break or Summer.

Revamping!

After months of this blog collecting dust. I've decided to put it into good use and make it my production blog. The objective of this blog is to chronicling the progress of all of my projects, from its conception phrase and all the way to the finished product.

Right now, I am not working on anything other than school work for the moment, meaning it'll be awhile before I can fully update this blog. However, rest assure I will be updating on a frequent basis regarding new projects and ones that are currently under way.

Until then, take care.

Looking for a Beta Reader! PLEASE READ!

Basically, I'm looking for a Beta Reader to edit and make any suggestions for one of my novels I'm currently working on called City of the Ferrets. The first thirteen chapters are roughly completed but am going back to rewrite some parts of chapter one. I also might even provide both versions of the same chapter to see which parts work and which doesn't.

The main criteria as far as what I'm looking for in a Beta reader is someone with enough experience in editing and critiquing other people's work. As well as have some patience with me as I've already completed 13 chapters, plus two more after chapter 14. At this time, I'm projecting around 17 to 18 chapters total for the book. Right now I'm struggling to rewrite chapter 14 and may end up splitting it into two. So if I'm taking longer than expected, that means I'm busy with my personal life, mostly school, or am on writer's block until I can come up with a new idea that works for the story and finish the chapter. Lastly, have to have good writing skills, in other words good grammar, spelling, and punctuation. No netspeak, improper grammar, or anything of that nature.

With those few things in mind and if you think you have what it takes as a Beta Reader, either send me a private message or email me at jadedillusions@gmail.com. Please do so soon as I want to get this, and potentially another future project, off the ground. For a little more information, go to my journal link I've provided at the top.

Long awaited update

Yeah, it's been awhile. Mostly, in line with college with all the projects and papers I've been doing. Now, I'm finally done for the quarter and am in the process of packing my things. Hopefully, some new art along the horizon, which is most likely as I need to practice my skills.

Other things worth noting:
- I'm changing gears as far as my Guardians trilogy is concerned. My original plot will be reworked as I've discovered so many holes and naive ideas that might be considered ridiculous, not to mention not well thought out. I'll still keep the the basic premise, but the entire story itself will be different from the original outline/draft.
- The "villain" of my Guardians trilogy, Vritra, is also getting a revamp. He'll still be one of the most dangerous demons and the most powerful antagonist to the heroes, but I'm working more on his personality, motivations, and even his design. His red markings and eyes will most likely be the first to go for his design as well as a revision of a chapter in which he makes a full appearance in.
-I have ideas for finished marker art in the works as I want to experiment more with the medium.
-Working on a personal script exercise of mine involving a love song I happen to enjoy as a guilty pleasure and was most fitting in the context of Vexa's story.
-Not only working on the Guardians trilogy story, but I'm looking to revamping my other stories, namely City of the Ferrets and A Spy Dog's Tale. Those three are the ones I'm devoting the most attention to. I have others, but for now, pushed to the side for another day.
-Going to be working on designing my website to showcase my artwork and writings as well as my projects that I'm currently working on.

And that's pretty much it. Keep a look out for future updates.
